I’m so excited to be here! I’m the founder and owner of Communicate to Self-Advocate, a business I started with the goal of supporting young people who often get left behind when they age out of paediatric services. Working with adolescents and young adults is my passion, and I focus on building a positive, playful, and trusting therapeutic relationship where young people feel safe to explore their strengths, challenges, and goals. It’s truly a privilege to be part of their journey and celebrate their successes with them.

A little about me… I’m a mum trying to find that elusive work-life balance. Outside of my work hours, I am a full-time stay at home mum (that’s part of the reason why I work after school/work hours). I like to start my day with a great coffee and end it with a sweet treat. I enjoy warm weather, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the air after rain. I love watching my son grow and play, and spending time with my little family. I’m not a fan of cutting raw chicken or when my toenails catch my socks! I also get overwhelmed in loud, busy places, and when I’m running late. I love using lists, colour coding, and cute stationery to stay organised.

I’m a late-diagnosed ADHDer, and I’m constantly learning about my neurotype and how to support myself in my everyday life. I love helping others do the same, and that’s really what Communicate to Self-Advocate is all about!
