  • A ‘good fit’ therapist is one who aligns well with your personal needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals. This includes their approach, personality, and expertise.

A good fit therapist will make you feel comfortable, understood, and respected throughout the therapeutic process. They will use evidence-based practices tailored to your unique challenges and work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals. The right therapist is someone who creates a safe, supportive environment where you feel empowered to explore and address your concerns. Factors like their experience, communication style, approachability, and ability to build trust are key to establishing a good fit.

  • Please note that I currently work with individuals between the ages of 12 and 30. I find that this age range allows me to provide the most effective support and tailor my approach to the unique challenges and developmental stages within this group.

If you or someone you know falls within this age range, I would be happy to discuss how we can work together. For those outside of this range, I encourage you to explore other professionals who may better meet your needs. You can search for a Speech Pathologist via the link below.

  • Telehealth is the delivery of healthcare services, including Speech Pathology, through digital platforms such as video calls. It allows clients to access support remotely, offering flexibility and convenience while maintaining effective care.

Telehealth offers several benefits for teenagers and young adults, including greater flexibility and convenience, allowing them to access therapy from home or a location they feel comfortable. It can also reduce the stigma of seeking help, provide more privacy, and allow for easier scheduling, especially for those with busy or unpredictable schedules. Additionally, it can be particularly helpful for individuals who experience anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or social difficulties in face-to-face settings, as Telehealth can offer a less overwhelming environment for therapy.

If you are happy to use or trial Telehealth I'd love to hear from you.
